[Xue Yang wraps an arm around Xingchen's waist immediately, understanding that this might be uncomfortable for him. Xiao Xingchen isn't a murderer - though he might say otherwise. The glory of that title resides with Xue Yang. Becoming a Vampire won't be easy or fun for his Daozhang, yet -
[They're...stunning together. Lestat beholds them both and for a moment his breath is stolen from him. Walking to them, he smiles as he comes over to touch both of their faces. His fingers are cool against their skin but they probably feel lovely.]
I am Lestat de Lioncourt. I'm so pleased to see you two together.
[ Admittedly, he is rather more nervous than he'd figured. But the arm curling around his waist immediately settles him and Xingchen smiles softly at his lover. He knows it won't be easy - maybe not all the details.
But he's not alone.
The vampire's approach, and cool touch to his face is both a surprise, but a welcome one as he allows himself to lean into it a little. ]
[Jiangzai is just out of sight, up one of his sleeves. He has no reason to draw the blade, but if necessary, he can and will. Lestat might be powerful, yet they are Cultivators and he will gladly die before he lets any harm come to Xingchen.
The cool touch settles him and he remembers to breathe deep, his dark eyes searching out Lestat's own.]
We want to stay together. Xingchen is dead during my time and I will be dead soon too. I have every intention of seeking him out on the spiritual plane, but it's not the same.
[He bites the inside of his cheek.]
I know we can handle pain as long as it doesn't last forever.
[ Xingchen knows his husband is armed. But he also doesn't think it will be necessary. He likes that laugh, and the claim of already adoring him has his face flush and his eyes lower shyly.
With the choice of who to go first before them, he turns and steals a soft kiss from his husband. They've talked about this, too. ]
I will. How soon will my strength begin to return? In time to help A-Yang?
[He isn't immune to blushing at those pretty words too. How often has he been told someone adores him? He can count on one hand. No, strike that, two fingers.
The feelings are returned for Lestat's generosity.]
It's alright, A-Chen. I just want to be strong enough to help you.
[Then he will follow. Releasing his hold on Xingchen's waist, he approaches Lestat and gazes at him intently.]
[Lestat leans in to steal kiss from Yang's lips then turns to Xingchen. Reaching out, he gathers him into his arms, smiling gently at him.]
You have my word that I will take care of you both tonight. I will not leave either of you to be too weak. You will be strong again within an hour and he will be shortly behind you by a matter of minutes.
[Leaning in, he kisses his cheek then guides him back to sit on his lap in the nearest chair.]
Relax and focus on your heart. Focus on your will to live.
[Tilting his head back, he presses his lip to his pull then sinks his fangs in. It will sting for only a second before it will feel like bliss to the young man he's holding, cradling. Xingchen will feel the life draining from him, how he feels weaker, his body colder...
Lestat holds him close and cradles him though all of it, paying careful attention to the beating of his heart. He's not rushing this, taking his time to make sure that the transition is as peaceful as possible for the beautiful man he holds.]
[ Lestat earns the warm smile for adoring his A-Yang too. Between that, what the Vampire's willing to do for them, and the love between Xingchen and Xiao Yang, Xingchen willingly steps into Lestat's arms. He listens to the words and finds himself reassured, so he nods with another gentle smile. ]
Thank you. For...all of this.
[ He settles in Lestat's lap, though reaches for his husband's hand to thread their fingers together. He doesn't fight as his head is tipped back, eyes slipping closed as he focuses as ordered. The pain is nothing. The ingrained fear...of death?
He's faced that before, too. He still doesn't fight Lestat. But the hand he holds is his anchor, and that is what he clings to as his body starts to change. ]
[Frankly, he could be given all the reassurances in the world - all of the worlds - and he would still want to be right here, holding Xingchen's hand. The loss of life is horrifying to him - he remembers the other man crumpling to the ground after slitting his own throat - and though his grip remains tight and steady, the rest of him trembles.
Don't go. Don't leave me again. The fears are irrational. Xingchen isn't dying; he is becoming stronger. Xiao Yang lifts the hand and kisses Xingchen's knuckles and palm, kneeling beside the pair.]
[At the point just before the man in his arms will die, Lestat pulls back. His lips and teeth are red. Bringing his own wrist to his fangs, he rips into it until the blood flows. Holding it over Xingchen's lips, he lets the drops fall onto them.
At first it might seem like Xingchen won't react. But when he tastes the blood his body will crave it to spur him into grabbing that wrist to suck with everything he has. The blood will be hot as it goes down but Lestat won't stop him right away, just holding his wrist to his mouth.
God that pull will be so much for him and Lestat will hiss even as he watches him.]
[ No. Not leaving. Never again. He's distantly aware of soft lips to fingers and palm, of the steadying grip to his hand until...nothing.
Nothing until hot liquid drips into his mouth. Then he stirs and grabs onto Lestat's offered wrist and sets to drinking, hungrily, even frenzied - except the hand still holding Xiao Yang's is gentle, unwilling even in his desperate hunger to let go.
He won't stop until Lestat makes him - or, perhaps, his husband tugs him to pull back or slow. ]
[The nothing is what frightens him most. Xiao Yang can't help leaning in closer, watching for the smallest of movements. How many hours had he sat by Xingchen's coffin, waiting, hoping?
This isn't like that. He gives his head a shake and nuzzles his cheek against Lestat's shoulder. What can he say?
Bring him back. And the Vampire does. Miraculously Xingchen is revived and...so hungry! Xiao Yang hears the hiss, yet he does nothing. Lestat is the one who must decide. He doesn't want Xingchen to end up malnourished.]
[God, it's like Xingchen is going to drain him dry! He laughs when he finally has to rip his arm away.]
It's so easy for me to forget about that part.
[Picking Xingchen up, he gently settles him on the floor. It'll be like every sense is overwhelming even as his body rids itself of everything it doesn't need. There will be nothing beautiful about it but it's best to leave him alone to change on the floor. Otherwise he could accidentally kill Yang before Lestat can change him. Which is the only reason why he makes them stop holding hands.
And so, he gathers the other man onto his lap so he can tilt his head back and start the process of draining him next. It will be just like with Xingchen where he'll stop right before he dies then offer him his blood as well only to yank his wrist away after a few minutes.
Now, he simply has to sit and wait until they're done, resting in the chair as he watches them.
It will be quite the overwhelming experience for the next hour or so but at least they'll be next to each other and with Lestat nearby.]
[ A low hiss escapes as the wrist is pulled away, but he doesn't attack. A shudder runs through him as he's scooped up, then set so gently down on the cool ground - enough of a distraction, along with the rest of the assault on his senses, that he doesn't protest the loss of his husband's hand too long.
Surely his Sire knows best!
He curls in on himself, trying to figure out...anything. Everything. Eyes squinting to try and focus on even one thing as his body twitches with his change. Expelling everything unnecessary will come next - but stone and tile are easy to clean. ]
[He almost fights Lestat's guiding hands, eager to offer Xingchen some comfort. Yet he has put his trust in the Vampire and he can't risk angering him now. So he slips into Lestat's lap without a fuss, offering himself without fear or hesitation.
The bliss is unexpected... He almost doesn't mind his life draining away. Drawn as ever to Lestat's bright hair, he caresses the curls a few moments before he collapses.
Only to be revived by the scalding hot blood. The blood that fills him with warmth and life. He drinks wildly, ravenously until he is pushed away. Then he too ends up on the floor, aware of Xingchen's proximity and yet unable to understand much of anything.
His senses are in overdrive, making everything too bright, too scented... As the transformation takes full effect, the scars on his body fade and his skin becomes paler by far. Then, of course, there are the more unpleasant aspects...
Their floor will need a deep cleaning after this.]
[The wound on Lestat's wrist has closed by now but he's not paying attention to that. Instead, he's smiling down at the pair of them, watching as they change before his eyes. They're stunning and he knows that he loves them in this moment. A sigh leaves him when he watches one go still then the other, rising to his feet to come over to them.
Their senses and the many voices they hear in their heads must be overwhelming. So he wants to be there to help them focus again, running fingers through their hair as he smiles down at them both.]
Come now. It's time to get cleaned up. You both need to feed or the blood I have given you will overwhelm you. I don't want to lose either of you any more than you want to lose each other.
[ Xingchen's scars also vanish - even the angry one at his throat. Even the old, far more faded ones from training.
Too loud. Too much scent. Even the soft cloth of Xiao Yang's robes is too much. And then the voices inside his head, making him curl tighter in on himself after he stops heaving.
It's the gentle fingers through his hair and guiding voice - no echo behind it - that draws a quiet breath and he leans into the other's hand. He barely understands, eyes squinting open.
Feed...? Automatically he searches for...something, before returning an intent gaze to Lestat. ]
[Once he is finished heaving and shuddering, Xiao Yang tries his best to push himself up. The hand in his hair stills him and he tries to focus on Lestat. He hasn't forgotten that he has an important purpose; someone who matters more than all of his senses screaming at once.]
I'll find someone. [Asking Xingchen to hunt is cruel and so he stubbornly pushes himself onto his feet. Breathing in great gulps of air, he turns to his husband and holds out his hands to him.]
Shhhhh. I will take you both and show you what to do.
[Pressing a finger to his youngest fledgling's lips, he smiles at him before making sure that they don't get distracted by...literally everything on the way to the bathroom. It can be difficult when suddenly you can see colors and textures in a way you never could before.]
Now, wash up. I will get you both fresh clothes.
[No, he's not accept arguments. He's just ushering them to get cleaned up while he goes to get clothes from the other room.]
[ The something he'd been searching for? Xiao Yang. Feeling him so close is just natural. Xingchen immediately focuses on the hands held out to him and lets his husband tug him to his feet, letting out another breath before stepping close, dazed and focused all at once as they're escorted to the bathroom.
A house they've already settled into, yet now looks and feels so strange! And the smells! Lestat earns another smile as Xingchen forces himself to focus past his distraction with determination and sheer stubbornness. ]
We'll try not to take too long.
[ Even without heightened senses though, they tend to take...a while, when bathing together. But this time they have reason not to. So it's not all that long before they're probably done. Hopefully. ]
[Lestat will have a - somewhat bloody - kiss to his cheek before Xiao Yang steps into the bathroom. His gratitude for their now sire hasn't faded and he is eager to see this process finished.]
Thank you.
[Once they are alone, he helps Xingchen strip; he has already rid himself of his robe. Then he guides him into the bathtub, scrubbing until they are clean. The scents are distracting and he is all too aware of how the other man moves and sounds...]
[They could both be sure that Lestat thoroughly explores all of their clothes to decide what they'll wear. Something they can get messy in because he knows they won't be able to feed cleanly for this first time. Which is fine really. To him at least.
When he has their clothes decided, he returns to the bathroom. A fond smile is given to the new vampires as he sets the clothes where they can be easily accessed before making sure to wash any traces of blood off of himself.]
[ They have a fairly wide range! Benefits of being Dominants and having once had the friendship of one Nie Huaisang. There are also some tougher outfits, easier to clean than the rest.
Xingchen fights to focus on his husband as they wash up, helping each other scrub all sorts of things off. And maybe he focuses a little too much, as he ends up curling into Xiao Yang's arms, pressing his face to his lover's neck just to breathe - even the lack of scent doesn't take away the sense of security. No less safe. ]
It's - a lot. But yes. I'm fine.
[ When Lestat returns, he doesn't feel the need to cover himself - the other Vampire gets another smile instead. ]
[He doesn't mind being disrobed before Lestat either. For some reason, that feels...natural. Their sire should see them in all of their glory. Clothes just get in the way.
The way Xingchen tucks himself close has him smiling, revealing his new fangs. His arms curl around his husband and he announces, quite happily:]
My hip is healed. [There is no pain, no tension. He feels like he could leap into the sky and it wouldn't bother him when he landed again.]
Are we a credit to you? [That last question is directed at Lestat; he finds he wants to make the Vampire proud. Oddly.]

Looking at you both, my heart beats for you. I adore you and I just met you, Xingchen. And of course I already adored you, Yang.
[Stepping back, he ponders this a moment before deciding that he should leave this choice to them.]
