In my case, I would have to drain you until you had almost nothing left. Then I would give you my blood to drink. It would change you and transform you. You would no longer age and could survive any injury a mortal might give you. Of course you would only be able to drink blood from now on but any food or drink you had in life will never compare to the wonder of it.
And if you were to be of my bloodline as I am now? You would be able to survive the sun even if you couldn't walk in it. Of course with magic in this place you could find someone to give you a charm for that. I certainly did.
Also, you will be able to enter the minds of others, take to the skies above... The world would be yours to explore and you could twist the minds around you to get away with anything.
Truly there are so few drawbacks you may as well just decide there are only perks.
Oh, and I should mention that other vampires have these pesky weaknesses to holy items and such. My type doesn't have any of that.
[Lestat is the WRONG PERSON to steer someone off of this path.]
[He is drawn to what Lestat says, drunk on what could be. What if he and Xingchen didn't have to worry about death? About being separated in such a way that any kind of reunion would have to be done on a spiritual level?
He just wants to be able to hold him. To feel him breathing. To hear his voice...]
Okay, so one drawback is the sun. But, like you said, it can be worked around. I don't much want to see into the minds of others - I have a fair idea of what they think about anyway - but freedom...
I can fly on my sword, but not too far or too high. I like the idea of flying without it!
The blood... Does it have to come from humans? Can it come from other Vampires without injuring them?
It will take practice but honestly you can learn to ignore it. Like a buzzing in the background that is rather soothing.
It can really come from anyone. Though good God don't try anything that isn't actually blood or you will expel everything in your system. It will be terrible.
Anyway, you can actually hunt humans without killing them. My preference is evil doers if you would like that as your prey. They're easy to find since you can dip into their thoughts.
So animals aren't a possibility? For blood, I mean. I'm sure I could find plenty of evil doers to -
I am interested in asking you, Lestat. There is someone else I would want included. I'll be honest, neither of us has anything to look forward to back in our world. If this allowed us to be together even a little bit longer, it would be worthwhile.
It will be easier for you two to go long periods of time without feeding after the first night due to how powerful I am. You will want the blood but you can ignore it if you wish to.
[OP Rice Vampe Lyfe BB.]
This would be the perfect way for him to never die here.
[He had known then, after meeting Lestat, that this man - this Vampire - was dangerous. Any reading material he could find on Vampires was devoured and then carefully placed in Xingchen's library. When he at last brought up the possibility to his husband, he had been pleasantly surprised at how quickly he agreed to it.
Just so they can have time. Just so they don't have to fear death.
Xue Yang waits, listening for any sound of Lestat's arrival, his hair loose and recently brushed against his back. The robe he wears is more for comfort, yet it feels oddly fitting.]
[What could Lestat do? Probably knock to let himself in. Announce himself. Instead, he just seems to appear in the room Xue Yang is in. Like maybe he's been there the whole time rather than just arriving.]
Oh. I love silk on you.
[He smiles, coming forward from the shadows like some dramatic gothic legend of old, flashing fang and glowing eyes as he comes closer.]
[ Xingchen is wearing one of Xue Yang's robes, hair also loose and recently brushed, when he steps into the room the other two are in when he hears an unfamiliar voice.
He's just as willing, now, to do pretty much anything if it means staying with his husband. Even this. He studies the unfamiliar figure, curious as he walks to his husband's side. He bows politely, arms moving up to cup hands level to his chest. ]
[Xue Yang wraps an arm around Xingchen's waist immediately, understanding that this might be uncomfortable for him. Xiao Xingchen isn't a murderer - though he might say otherwise. The glory of that title resides with Xue Yang. Becoming a Vampire won't be easy or fun for his Daozhang, yet -
[They're...stunning together. Lestat beholds them both and for a moment his breath is stolen from him. Walking to them, he smiles as he comes over to touch both of their faces. His fingers are cool against their skin but they probably feel lovely.]
I am Lestat de Lioncourt. I'm so pleased to see you two together.
[ Admittedly, he is rather more nervous than he'd figured. But the arm curling around his waist immediately settles him and Xingchen smiles softly at his lover. He knows it won't be easy - maybe not all the details.
But he's not alone.
The vampire's approach, and cool touch to his face is both a surprise, but a welcome one as he allows himself to lean into it a little. ]
[Jiangzai is just out of sight, up one of his sleeves. He has no reason to draw the blade, but if necessary, he can and will. Lestat might be powerful, yet they are Cultivators and he will gladly die before he lets any harm come to Xingchen.
The cool touch settles him and he remembers to breathe deep, his dark eyes searching out Lestat's own.]
We want to stay together. Xingchen is dead during my time and I will be dead soon too. I have every intention of seeking him out on the spiritual plane, but it's not the same.
[He bites the inside of his cheek.]
I know we can handle pain as long as it doesn't last forever.
[ Xingchen knows his husband is armed. But he also doesn't think it will be necessary. He likes that laugh, and the claim of already adoring him has his face flush and his eyes lower shyly.
With the choice of who to go first before them, he turns and steals a soft kiss from his husband. They've talked about this, too. ]
I will. How soon will my strength begin to return? In time to help A-Yang?
[He isn't immune to blushing at those pretty words too. How often has he been told someone adores him? He can count on one hand. No, strike that, two fingers.
The feelings are returned for Lestat's generosity.]
It's alright, A-Chen. I just want to be strong enough to help you.
[Then he will follow. Releasing his hold on Xingchen's waist, he approaches Lestat and gazes at him intently.]

[Honestly. Please don't be like Louis.]
Oh? The one you're married to, yes?

Xiao Xingchen, yes. In my time, he's dead.

I'd like that.

[Enjoy those blood cravings, boys. They're insane. Think addiction levels...]
I want to meet him first. I want to know who I'm turning before I give the Dark Gift.
no subject
[They've handled bad before. Xingchen dug out his own eyeballs and Xue Yang has been tortured a lot over the years.]
He has to meet you. When would be a good time for you?
no subject
[Why not. He certainly enjoys hunting that way.]
Now. I'm not busy. Shall I come to you?
no subject
[But if he has to kill, he will.]
Yes, that's perfect. Do you mind? I'm at Xingchen's house. Ai Wu Ji Wu. It's located on the edge of the Up.

I don't mind at all. I only need a few minutes to arrive.

Looking at you both, my heart beats for you. I adore you and I just met you, Xingchen. And of course I already adored you, Yang.
[Stepping back, he ponders this a moment before deciding that he should leave this choice to them.]
Which of you would like to go first? It will be messy but messes can always be cleaned.
